Embroidery Considerations
Embroidery Fonts and Colors
Fonts for Names under crest
For the name under the organization's crest, our two most popular options
are block and script.  The most popular is script where we use a more
feminine style for ladies and a bolder style for men.
Right Sleeve Lettering
For most organizations, this is the season
and crossing year.  Please specify SP or
SPR for Spring or FA or FALL for Fall.
Collar Lettering and Designs
The most important consideration here is collar up or down.  If you specify
up, the lettering is larger and will be placed on the underside of the collar
so that it is seen when you "pop" the collar up.  If you specify down, the
lettering is smaller and will be placed on the top of the normal fold of the
collar so that it is seen in the normal collar placement.  There are many
ideas for collar lettering and design.  Below are just a few examples.
All uppercase vs. Mixed case
All uppercase is all capital letters.  This is not recommended for script
lettering.  Mixed case is the first letter capitalized.  For line names or
collective line names of more than one word, we recommend mixed case
as it is more readable.
Left Sleeve Lettering
For most organizations, this is the
chapter.  This is most commonly done in
Greek letters or abbreviations for chapters
without Greek letter designations.
